I also have an update too. I recieved my Zapp and it is not a one handed push, I feel like it is similar to the city mini, not near as nice as my Vista w/ all 36lbs of my kid in it.

Also even a bigger deal IMO is how uncomfy my son looks in the seat, he barely fits on the seat, the depth is super shallow and looks really uncomfy and the knee to feet drop is short also. The fold is ridiculous also.

I wouldn't recommend it for a bigger toddler.

Back to my lightweight search, the city mini is an identical footprint to my Vista so seems not tiny enough. Although it was light to carry by the handle.

Yeah, if you don't like the Zapp seat I don't think you'll like the BJCM one much either. They are so similar in that regard that my DS1 thought the BJCM was the Zapp when he first saw it. (FWIW he doesn't complain in either one although he looks sort of silly. )

I think when people talk about a one-handed push for the Zapp they are usually raving about the European one with only 3 wheels. But it won't compare the Vista because of the much smaller tires. I hate the fold on the Zapp!!

(ETA: Sorry it was a disappointment! There's nothing worse than getting a new stroller and realizing right away that it's not for you!)

But the fold is pretty big on the Superlite so if you use mass transit a lot in NYC it might not be the stroller for you.
The superlite fold would better than a BJCM fold though for mass transit, wouldn't it? it's not as tiny as most umbrellas, but at least it is vertical and it does fold to standing, which seems like it might be good for transit?

(I have never taken a stroller on SF public transit and on the DC metro you don't have to fold the stroller so I'm not much of an expert on strollers on transit.)

It really depends. If you're on an NYC subway I wouldn't want either one with me. The folded footprint is just too big. I would feel silly and kind of rude to be taking up that much space! Although I guess if I had to choose I'd pick the Superlite because at least then people can see/negotiate it, the low to the ground BJCM would be more awkward. On our local buses (not nearly as crowded as NYC) I think both of them are fine. I like the Superlite because of the standing fold. You can keep all of your stuff in the buggy buddy and your diaper bag attached, which is awesome, but the BJCM can be slotted between/next to you on seats where a loaded Superlite won't fit, even folded.

Lately I've been using the Baby Home Emotion, and I LOVE IT! Many people on our StrollerSwap board feel the push is superior to the Bugaboo Bee. I can easily push it one-handed with SP 2.0 all the way to school and back. I haven't done the weights and measurements yet, but MB says it is 13 pounds. The only complaint I have heard about it is that the handle is on the low side, if you are very tall. For me it is fine. The shape and material of the handle makes it very comfortable to push with one hand, also.

I would love to read your review on this one strollerqueen! It looks really nice. Do you feel like there is enough room for your toddler to have a nice seat, does it go almost to his knees?

Thanks multimama, it was sad since the Zapp looks so cute. But glad to know I can safely rule out the BJCM too. I feel like I need a lighter weight than 17-18lbs since my Vista frame is only 18lbs by itself so lighter would make another stroller feel less redundant.

OK, I will put a rush on it for ya'! Yes, the seat size is fine, not small at all. On my Facebook page, I have a video of the distributor rollling the wheels. He said they are the same ones used on inline skates. So if you give them a spin, they keep on spinning and spinning. That's why the push is so amazing.

We went over some pretty substantial cracks and bumps yesterday, and I kept telling SP 2.0 "hang on, hang on!" I was sure the stroller would stop dead and he would be pitched out, as is what happens on most lightweights. I was shocked when it just glided over.

Wow! Sounds amazing. It's about $150 more than I wanted to spend on a new stroller for my toddler, but now I'm tempted to have another baby just to justify it.
