Default **Update**Need comfortable sandals or flip flops for walking

Update in #16 - found some sandals!

Need to be able to get them at a B&M store, not too fugly or clunky (I have skinny ankles) and not too costly. Going to a theme park tomorrow and it might rain. Also, the last time I wore sneakers to a park, my feet got so hot I couldn't stand it! Will be there 7-8 hours.

Teva Tirras are about $50 everywhere right now. Exceptionally comfortable. http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/73569...651_pmd_nextag

Maybe they found as clunky/fugly, though.

I was on the hunt for cute comfortable walking sandals for our Disney trip last year. I ended up with a pair of Merrells. They don't make the particular style I have anymore but they were similar to these...

and these...

They were SUPER comfortable and I wore them for the entire ten day trip and last summer. I got them at DSW and they were less than Zappos prices, maybe in the $60 dollar range. The Teva Tirras that a PP mentioned were also something I tried on and they were also very comfortable. I found those at DSW as well. Have fun tomorrow!

I got some Crocs flip flops at DSW last year for our Disney trip, VERY comfortable. I just saw them there yesterday. Didn't look at the price though.

I got a pair of Merrell flip flops for the same trip - also great!

Crocs flip flops are great! I haven't tried them, but I have heard great things about Fit Flops and those are readily available.

A friend was showing me these yesterday, she just got them and she claims that they are incredibly comfortable. They are very $$$ for flip flops though.

Croc flip flops are super comfy and inexpensive. I always wear them to amusement parks.

I have several colors of these Teva wedges. They are super comfy and I do get complements. They have done great at Disney, swim meets, etc.

I love the teva mush flip flops. They are super comfortable and I can walk all day in them... amusement parks or speed walking. .

If I needed them locally, I would go to REI.
