Just wondering if they do. I know that in general carseats expire after 6 years, but what about boosters? I can see that the plastic and foam can degrade over time, but the harness part for most boosters are the car's actual seatbelt. Does that mean that we can use it longer?

Thanks,

Yeah, most do have a standard expiration date (whatever it says in their manual, 5-8 years range). There *might* be issues in the future where older seats just aren't as safe as newer models (for example, if side impact standards become mandatory, most seats today wouldn't pass at all)

Thought so, but just wanted to ask to make sure. I'm sure that the plastic on it degrades the same way as the plastic on a car seat. Thanks Julie!!!
