I don't know if Mara has joined the new boards, I hope she has. I wanted to do a public thank you. I replied to a post about thyroid problems saying I needed to have surgery, and Mara emailed me the name of an ENT surgeon. I met with him and he immediately calmed all my cancer fears and thinks I may have Hashimoto's thyroiditis which could explain all my thyroid issues, and he ran a simple blood test that I've never had done. I still need to have the surgery, but I'm not worried anymore. So thank you Mara (I've also emailed you.)
That's what I missed about these boards. Parents helping other parents, giving personal recommendations on so many things, and making life much easier.
