I have been using my Fleurville Alpha 7 for 2 years now. I think it has finally seen its day. I think I am done carrying the diaper bag that looks like a diaper bag. Can anyone recommend one that is more styled like a pocket book? I have been looking at the petunia pickle bottom touring tote but there has to be some others out there.

Oh, BTW - I have three kids. Two in diapers, one using a bottle, but two using sippy cups so I need to carry a lot with me.

TIA! Amy

I used a briefcase - the type for carrying a laptop - from Coldwater Creek. It had style, was easily cleaned, and worked beautifully. I always had enough room, no matter how many kids I was carrying stuff for, and because briefcases open up so wide, I could alway *see* into it!

You could consider a Harvey's Seat Belt bag. The Executive Tote is what they recommend for "diaper bag size" although the Messenger is pretty big too. I actually just got a Large Tote (only one in diapers & I really didn't want to carry around a diaper bag anymore!) & it's the perfect size for a Diapees/Wipees type case, sippy, cosmetics case with baby stuff & my stuff too. It's smaller than the Executive Tote. I think they are a bit heavier to begin with but I'm used to the Fleurville Sling Tote & anything that weighs less than carrying a baby around is ok for me! :) Anyway, here's the link:

The Storksak diaper bags are also nice and don't look like your typical diaper bags.

I have a StorkSak Emily bag that people say looks nothing like a diaper bag. I have to agree.

I think it looks like a nice hobo type bag.

I love the OiOi Hobo. It doesn't look like a diaper bag to me, and I get tons of compliments on it.

I've being using my gigi for two or three weeks now and love it. I use it for both work and baby stuff. I don't find it to be too large and it is very lightweight. The multiple interior pockets are great. My only concern is how it will hold up over the long term, as the straps are thin and I tend to stick a lot of stuff in it. So far no problems at all though.

I have never seen/used this bag, but have it bookmarked. I think they look nice.
