Marking children's clothing/toys

What is a good non-toxic marker for marking children's toys and clothes? (An infant really)

Anyone know of good options for this so toys that leave the house are more likely to come back?

I'm still looking! I had more luck sticking a very secure label (like Mabel's Labels) on clothes and toys than finding a non-toxic marker that didn't wear off all the time!
