I'm starting to feel all crafty about play food and these are amazing videos of a mom's work. It's incredible. She's written 3 e-books on how to make them. I'm getting very excited to try this. Now I need to think of what I want to make and buy felt. Anyway, check these out.

Here is another site, this is a different method. I want to learn, but I'm sure it's easier to buy. I am thinking of contacting her about if she's doing orders now or not.

Kate is fantastic --I just got my order --FABULOUS! It's all wet felted--not sewn.

If you sign up for her email notifications she will send you notices when she is stocking the store (once a month or so). It goes QUICKLY when it's stocked so you have to be by your computer. This time I got the cracking egg (among other things)!

I actually make regular sewn felt food --got some books from amazon Japan-- but bought some of Kate's stuff for variety. She is very sweet too --as we have exchanged a few emails.

I just love the photos and I think buying her items would be easier than learning how to do the felt and get all the supplies. I was even thinking maybe we should inquire about a BBB co-op. I imagine her stuff goes fast!

I will sign up for her emails. I think it would be fun to have even a few pieces and I think her prices are reasonable for handmade items.

I suppose I could go search Yahoo groups. I saw a group of moms who were interested in play food here about a year ago from Around the House searches. I am so excited about making play food and would love to chat more about this with anyone who is interested.

I'm going to hit the fabric store tomorrow to scope out supplies.

I thought these were interesting. They all qualify for free super saver shipping so it's possible to put together a small set of real pans for a play kitchen. Others have mentioned Marshalls but I think that Amazon's selection is pretty good and the free shipping is always fun.

I'd like a few pans. I was also looking at the Pottery Barn Kids baking set for $20 but getting real pans may be more fun.

I have gotten some of the small muffin pans and cake pans at Michael's with 40% off coupons for DD's kitchen. They are in the WIlton section.

I bought a breakfast meal and a picnic lunch from Lilly Bean Market. They are so cute and Hillary was great to work with. I cannot wait to give it to ds for Christmas.

Wow, that stuff is too cute. I'd love a co-op or learn to do it myself, someday.
