My MIL is an avid crafter/seamstress and her ONLY request for Christmas is a new pair of Fiskars Shears (ergonomic, spring-loaded). I've checked online and Amazon has them for under $25 but NOT in time for Christmas.

Does anyone know of a good place to get them, whether online or at a B&M establishment? I would really love to have them for her.

Thank you!

Stephanie

I'm pretty sure I bought a pair at Joann's.

Any fabric/sewing/craft store should have them. Fiskars is a popular brand.

I bought my Fiskars spring loaded snips at JoAnn Fabrics. As the pp said, it is a very popular brand.

Buy at JoAnn's with one of the 40% coupons they have all the time in the newspaper.

I got mine at JoAnn's. The same kind as your Mom requested. I used them very heavily and after a few years they gave out. I sent them back to Fiskar's and they repaired them and sharpened them for free. I love Fiskars! Both the scissors and the company!

Michael's has them as does Target.

use this link and in the row of scissors pictured, click on "see more Fiskars" to find what you want. Below that is a link to a 50% off the regular price code. That code is a better deal than the sale. HTH!

Yep, any fabric or craft store will have them. Even someplace like Calico Corners or Fabricland. In fact, I bet you could probably even get them at someplace like Sears over by their sewing machines (I would call first, though). Good scissors aren't cheap, but they're worth their weight in gold.:)

Michael's has them as does Target.

I was going to suggest Target too (or Walmart if you shop there). Both sell that brand at pretty decent prices. If you have a 40% off coupon for one of the craft stores you'll probably get a better deal there though.

I ordered them from Joann's late last night and I thank you for the code, too!!!!!

They aren't *that* expensive, even at full price, considering how much MIL loves them. Nevertheless, the code made up for shipping and now I don't have to go 45 minutes away to the nearest store!

Thanks for everyone's suggestions!
