I just turned my daughter around. We lasted til 19 months rear facing but for a couple of reasons I need to turn her now.

How important is the angle of the seat when forward facing? I have a FPSVD in my car and it is in the upright position, but is angled forward a lot. Can I put a noodle under the front?

Thanks for any help.

Nope, no noodles on FF seats. You just need to put it in the upright mode and let it fall where it may (could try pushing the base as far back as it will go, or installing with belt instead of latch or vice versa if that's an option). Britaxes are known for being quite reclined when FF.

I realized I had the latch strap through the wrong belt path. That seems to have made the seat a little less tilted forward.

Whoa...phew... (don't worry, I've seen even good techs make that mistake).
