We're turning this cement floored *bonus room* into a playroom for our DD, and I'm thinking that those foam interlocking tiles might be better than carpet--easier to clean, replace, thicker, etc. But there are so many different types and thicknesses. Anyone had any experience here? I've found 1/2, 3/8, and 5/8 in. thicknesses and the prices vary from .99/sq. ft. to nearly $2/sq. ft.
Since it's over cement, I'm thinking about safety, but I'm also interested in durability. The rub comes in the $400 price tag for the thickest model.
TIA!

We got ours from home deopt- they carry only the grey ones, so we special ordered a case of the multi-colored ones- they've lasted quite some time!!!
We mop them, spot clean them, even take them outside and pressure wash them, lol!

so I'd say go to Home depot (or lowe's) and see what they carry...
