We're turning this cement floored *bonus room* into a playroom for our DD, and I'm thinking that those foam interlocking tiles might be better than carpet--easier to clean, replace, thicker, etc. But there are so many different types and thicknesses. Anyone had any experience here? I've found 1/2, 3/8, and 5/8 in. thicknesses and the prices vary from .99/sq. ft. to nearly $2/sq. ft.
Since it's over cement, I'm thinking about safety, but I'm also interested in durability. The rub comes in the $400 price tag for the thickest model.
TIA!
Blair
