Thanks!

Do you have a similar number for cake pan plus decorating kit? I didn't see a pattern to the change, or I wouldn't ask!

9-5191051 for the cake car decorating kit. $8.

Buying them separately $23, saves you $2 over the combo price.

I have to ask.

I second you heartily. I want these pans for DS, but the shipping kills the deal for me.

I know people said they don't price match, but last time when I was there they told me if I had a copy of the on-line price they would honor it. I did not have it, so I did not get to test them.

I printed out my shopping cart from WS the other day and took it into the store to see what I could buy for the same price without having to pay shipping. (everything was at a discounted price.) Of the items them had in the store, all but 1 item was the same price as online. The clerk readily agreed to honor the price printed from the website (once she verified the item number was the same.)

One recommendation though - Print your cart as soon as you know you want something. I'd uncovered a great deal on the snowmen cocoa mugs (marked down to 19.99) and started to place an order online last night to get them. Then decided to hold off until I'm back by the store tomorrow because of the shipping costs. Unfortunately the item is no longer available online, so I wasn't able to print proof of the great price. I don't know if they've marked them down in the stores or not.

Thanks so much for this great deal. I just ordered both the pan and the decorating kit for my mom. Now she wants to know if you amazing bargain hunters have a special item number for the train cake pan. Does such a number exist for the train pan (or any other great items)?

Thanks again for being such great bargain hunters!!

I am going to use the bulk foods candy for decorating. The pans were $14.99 in the store.

I don't know of deals on the train pan. I paid FULL PRICE (so rare, but had to have it) a year ago. Since then I know own the train, pumpkins and now cars. I was assigned desserts this weekend... guess what we'll be making.

I found the train pan at $34 but the price can not discounted, no matter how many numbers I insert. No F/S neither.
Sorry.

I must go over to WS today. I called yesterday about them matching the price online and they said no. They said that the prices might be lower online b/c you have to pay shipping so it is actually better to buy in store etc etc.

Did anyone notice if the Ginger Bread House cookie cutters were on sale????

$8.99 under 9-9506346.

If the Halloween cookie cutters are any indication, these will also go down in price after Christmas. The Halloween ones went for $5.99 at the lowest price, I'm crossing my fingers that these will too. Buy now, PA later?

If you bought these on-line call to get the price adjusted.

I went to the store trying to get the Gingerbread cookie cutters for $7.99, no dice but they were $14.99. I wonder if it goes down after Christmas if I can get a PA.

Also another item I wanted was cheaper online but full price instore. I wonder if I should buy it online, along with the Cookie Cutters.

Price I paid $31
Price for two items with shipping $18.48
for a difference of $12.52

or do you think I should hold out for a PA in-store on Seasonal Stuff?

TIA for your thoughts!

First, verify with your store what their PA policy is with seasonal items.
If it's 14 days, I would feel confident to buy them now on the 20th before they go out of stock (just in case).

I noticed with the in-store Halloween cookie cutters , they were $14.99 (Oct. 29), then $9.99, then finally $5.99 around Nov. 9. Hopefully, history repeats itself and that your store has a good PA policy.

What does wwyd mean?

But if the item goes OOS in store (I already have it), I guess I wouldn't get the PA right?

I'm going to call and ask....thanks!

My mom called WS to get the price adjustment for the car pan and decorating kit. While on the phone she ordered the 3-D gingerbread kit (7.99) and the rep told her there was a decorating kit available for 2.99. It is the Holiday Sugar Decorations Kit (95-9540154). It had been $7.50, so not as much as a savings as the other items, but still a decent deal. In fact, my mom said the service rep read her a whole list of new prices (mostly food). If you're calling to get a PA, be sure to ask for the list of recently lowered prices.

Good luck!

ETA: The $35.00 Santa pan is now $12.99 (9-9523838)

Not necessarily. They check the SKU number, not the availability. It would be funny if they wouldn't honour a price that WS is selling in all stores.

Let us know how it goes!

95-6692123 will get you the $25.00 mechanical pastry bag for $12.99

It's almost noon and I'm still in my pj's. I really need to stop playing with WS item numbers and get showered and dressed for the day!

As of 12/24 the gingerbread house cookie cutters are $6.99 on line and $9.99 in-store. I talked to the manager and he said he would give a PA within 14 days ONLY if the item was instock in the store.

I'm debating if I should get my PA now ($5 back or wait). It's all a gamble isn't it????
