Ouch! But so cute!

My 18 month old loves to lift my shirt when shes lying next to me in bed and pokes/shakes my stomach (stretch marks, extra skin, extra fat...I'm sure you can relate) and laughs her head off.

Better yet - my friend was getting dressed and her 3 yr old looks at her stomach and says "Mommy, your tummy looks like really smushy dough!"
Sure enough...I got a call from her later that day begging me to go to the gym with her!

DS has taken to telling DH, "Daddy! Your belly is so big! You ate too much food", which is kind of cute .. but when we're in public and he points at someone and yells, "Look! That man's belly is big like daddy's!" .. it's less cute.

My friend was walking around her classroom one day when one of the kids asked her why her butt wiggled when she walked. OUCH!

DS was looking at some photos on the computer the other day and one of the two of us decorating the tree popped up. I was days away from having DD, so you can imagine how big my belly was. DS turned to me, started rubbing my belly and tried to lift up my shirt. Um...hello?! Does Mommy's belly still look like that?!
