Lego Advent Calendar: Good/Bad?

I replied to a post about the Lego Advent calendar in the Playmobil calendar post but it's getting lost. If you purchased the Lego Advent calendar did you like it or not like it? I'm thinking of trying to get these on clearance after Christmas.

My ds has had one the past 2 years and loves it. But, he loves everything Lego. :) He looks forward to opening it each day. Usually you get one person (a themed person, like a garbage man) then the next day you get a trash can set up and the day after you get some other sanitation theme item...then you get like a firefighter and the next days have fire or fire fighter related things. The sets are tiny but good. I'd recommend it to a Lego loving kid. :)

We got our first one this year and DS has been thrilled with getting a little Lego thing every day! It is much better IMO than the standard chocolate advent calendar! I will do it again next year..... I hope they change it up every year!

I know Amazon had them last week for half price- $12.50. I had purchased one earlier and got a price match for the difference. My 5 and 7 yo love it!
