View Full Version : Some HABA toys are made in China

Just thought that I'd post this in case anyone is interested. I have been on the hunt for a specific Haba grasping toy and in my search discovered that some of their things are made in China. I do not know if it is stamped on the toy itself but noticed it on a couple of tags. Bummer... Hopefully they'll have the same Haba quality without the scary MIC stigma.

The sewn Haba items I have are all made in China.

As the PP said, it is mostly the fabric stuff, the jewelry, and at least one of the big block sets (but not all of the blocks). Most of the rest is made in Germany.

I think I read somewhere a while back that they supposedly import their own paint from Germany for the jewelry, etc. but obviously there are no guarantees.
