Okay, so it's petty, I'll admit. Last night was the traditional eat with the in-laws. DH calls to find out what time we're expected over there. Oh, any time around dark. Well, uhm, can you be a bit more specific? We're trying to make it to Christams Eve service before hand, and would LOVE to have an approximate food time. DH tells MIL what time service is & tells her about how long we're expecting it to last. No mention of that being too late. Well, we get to her house exactly 1 hour after service started. Actually a bit earlier than I was expecting. And EVERYONE is already eating. Apparently she had told everyone else what time to come, rather than just a general, well, sometime after dark. And they couldn't wait an extra five minutes for us to get there. It was fairly obvious that everyone had just gotten through the line, but still. How difficult is it to wait until 6:30 to eat? Okay. That's the worst. I'll sit back & stop complaining now. ;)
