I gave DD#1 the Thermos Foogo straw sippy and DD#2 the handled/spout sippy in their stockings yesterday.

straw sippy: http://www.thermos.com/Product_detail.aspx?CatCode=Foog&SubcategoryID=44&ProductID=739

handled sippy: http://www.thermos.com/Product_detail.aspx?CatCode=Foog&SubcategoryID=43&ProductID=736

OK, these sippies are so freakin' CUTE!!!! The pink and purple is just perfect for my girls. Neither leak. At all. The straw sippy keeps liquids cold for 12 hours according to the package. The handled sippy keeps liquids cold for 6 hours. I'd have to say the handled sippy keeps things colder longer than 6 hours. Both girls really like their cups.

Comparing them to the Klean Kanteens, I totally LOVE that these are insulated and don't feel cold or damp on the outside. I got 2 new KKs for DD#2 that have the green Avent sippy spout and they don't seem to leak, but I know people were complaining about the KKs leaking in the past.

I plan to buy more of the Thermos foogo cups, probably 2 more handled sippies for DD#2 and one more straw cup for DD#1. We already have 6 KKs, but if I had it to do over I would probably buy the Thermos ones instead. They are pink, after all! :)

Ooh, I like these!!! How hard is the straw cup to clean? Can you easily replace the parts. For $15 on their site, I figure I better ask someone who is using it, not selling it. ;-) They look like what I have been trying to find for my kids.

That looks great! I just found this blog with some pics of the what it looks like open: http://zrecs.blogspot.com/2007/05/sippy-cup-showdown-safer-bpa-free-sippy.html

I'm also curious about how it comes apart for cleaning. That part is really important to me these days. I'm drowning in dirty sippy cups! :)

Oh! Here's a blog with some detailed photos of the lid: http://babytoolkit.blogspot.com/2007/05/thinking-thermos-funtainer-and-foogo.html

We loves these too! I like the wide mouth because DD likes her water ice cold and I can add ice at 6.30am and the water is still cold when I pick her up at 3pm. Sometimes there is still ice in there. Cleanup is a breeze and everything comes apart easily but I haven't found the straw replacements here. DD likes that she can pick it up and there is no condensation and her hands don't get cold. We haven't used the Sigg bottles once since we got these.

My ds hates the sippy cups. I think they are very hard to drink from. We will transition to the straw cups though in a short while. I hate how the Sigg can't go to the dishwashter. I love the Thermos, however,

Having used them for the past couple of days, I would say they straw sippy is super easy to clean, both parts just pop out for cleaning. The handled sippy is a little trickier to take apart, but not as much as say the old Avent sippies. About the same as a KK sippy.

I haven't found parts, but haven't looked yet.

Both girls really like them. I'm impressed.

If you like the straw cup, you might also like the Thermos Funtainer Straw cups. Lots of different kid-friendly designs with generic and licensed characters, easy to clean, and comes with a set of extra straw parts. I got ours at Target in the camping and outdoor section. I haven't seen the Foogo IRL, but I believe they're very similar.

I've found that the sippy cup leaks when it's laid down (DS tried it during a nap). Has anyone had experiences with leakage? I've sent it back to Thermos to see what they will do. They don't offer replacement parts until late next year according to their customer service reps.

Just an FYI for anyone considering these, check out the pictures in the blog links above. The big difference is the straw assembly. The funtainer straw can pull off from the top and become a choking hazaard. Just something to keep in mind depending on the age of the child using it. Older kids who won't pull it off should be fine with the funtainer, but 2-3 yos may have issues.

I finally found these at Target and bought one of the straw ones for each kid. They love them! I love that they keep their drinks cold and don't leak. My target only had one of each color so now I'm stalking several targets to try to get more. :)

I have been looking for the Foogo straw bottle for awhile but everytime I checked Target they were sold out. I went to BRU for the first time in a long time and found them there for $14.99. My store only had the purple (blue???) color and no pink. They also carry the sippy cups and food jars in the same color. I was also able to use a coupon to make the price even better. Sorry if this is old news. I hardly go to BRU anymore:) HTH someone!

This is helpful. I don't like BRU and don't shop there but I do have merchandise credit to burn! Thanks.

I just got the Foogo straw cup for DS to take in his lunchbox. I love it! It's so easy to clean, and doesn't leak, even when turned on its side. And it really does keep things cold! DH loves it too -- says it looks cool. LOL I just ordered the matching Foogo food jar too because that also got good reviews online. Supposed to be much lighter than the funtainer ones, which seemed really heavy to me when combined with a funtainer straw cup.

Meijer carries these too (not the foogo ones, but the regular straw ones that *could* be a choking hazard for little ones).

My DD just started preschool last week and she loves this thing! I have been using for her milk with lunch and it is still cold 4 hours later when I pick her up. (I discard the milk if there is any left just to be safe.) Got it in the camping section at Target as well. I think it was 14.99

I finally got around to buying a Foogo... but am going to return it because it doesn't thread correctly! My husband tried it, too. I have a Funtainer that I got on 50% clearance a couple of weeks ago. I really like that one so I got a second one a few days ago. It's been redesigned so that the top straw part is attached to a disc, similar to the Foogoo design. No more choking hazard! Plus, I love that the Funtainer comes with a second set of parts (straw, etc.). The Foogo doesn't. Just an FYI for anyone who is looking at these two cups!

FYI, for anyone looking for these. I don't know how the prices compare, but I just noticed that diapers.com is selling them.

I found the Foogo sippy cups at my Babies R Us last night! Just an FYI.

How do you get them not to leak? I tried both the Funtainer and the Foogo straw now and both leak pretty bad, if they're on their side or upside down, which happens often enough with DD. It's a pretty steady stream of fluid coming out the air hole and the straw itself.

My funtainer leaks too...its pretty gross at the end of the day when there's leftover milk coming out of the lunchbox. Any suggestions?
