View Full Version : Are these Sippy Cups safe?

With all the info out there about which plastics are safer for you and such, I try to be more careful about what containers I use. I saw these sippys at the store and they didn't have a recycle symbol on it at the bottom of the cup. Just wondering if anyone knows if these are considered "safe" plastic sippys. They are made by The First Years.

Can anyone tell me if these are okay? If not, then what would you recommend? Anything with Princesses on it would make the transition easier as we're on a princess kick lately. :)

I do have Klean Kanteens to use, but was looking for a safe plastic alternative too since the Klean Kanteens tend to dent easily when dropped.

According to this site, they are BPA free.

We have a whole bunch-- Elmo, Cars, and Princesses. The best part about them is that there is not a separate valve. DH never put cups with valves together correctly and we always had leaks.
