Thermos Nissan or Kleen Kanteen

I need a bottle of water for myself when outing with DD. I can't decide b/w these two. I know both are made in China. Well, I could not find any stainless steel one that is made in the US or European countries. I like the fact that the Thermos one has the cup, but no sure whether it has any issue with the toxic/chemical leaching. Anyone knows??

Which one do you like and why? Thanks!

I can not answer to compare the 2, but I have had Nissan bottles and mugs since 1993 or earlier, and use they regularly with no issues. The coffee mugs I periodically clean with baking soda.

If it's for cold drinks, like just water, go with the thermos stainless straw container. It is so easy, you just push a button and the lid pops up! I use it during my stroller exercise class and can do it one handed. It's much easier that unscrewing a water bottle, plus it keeps drinks cold for over 12 hrs!!! I really like the thermos, BUT the straw mouthpieces can wear out very easily, so you'll need a few extra. Otherwise, by far it is much nicer than the KK (we have the sippy cups), which leaks like crazy (the sippy top) AND sweats a lot, and it is NOT insulated.
