Paper towels in a box?

DH wants paper towels to be like Kleenex - in a box and dispensed one-at-a-time. I told him I'd look. Do these exist?

Lol, sorry I just had to laugh at your DH's request, I think it's kind of funny for a guy to care so much about paper towels. The only paper towels I can think of that may come in boxes are the ones that you use in a workshop or garage, lol. He can probably make some $ if he invented paper towels that are dispensed from a box.

Maybe from an Auto Parts Store? Or that section of Walmart. Not sure why that's coming to mind ... Or else maybe from a commercial cleaning supply place?

Your DH is a brilliant guy! That would be awesome if it existed. I hate having gross hands in the kitchen and trying to grab a paper towel but having to fight with the holder to get only one at a time. My DH solved the problem by pre-ripping a bunch of paper towels and stuffing them in behind the holder on our counter. It works pretty well but isn't as "pretty" as I would like. What is it with men and paper towels?

I just saw one of these in the Lillian Vernon catalog... I don't remember the specifics though - you could probably check it out online.

I'm assuming he's going for the look in the public restrooms @ swanky restaurants & hotels... I've seen paper towel boxes in wicker, wrought iron, and lucite. The lucite one is really pretty when you have the whole bathroom set.

Maybe they still do. I bought them a couple of years ago and MY DH thought it was a gimmick--go figure!
