JC Penney's (Bright Future) Convertible Sleigh Crib

I really like the look of the JC Penney (Bright Future) Convertible Sleigh Crib but am concerned about the quality (ease and quietness of use of drop side; strength of construction; etc.) It appears that they now are using the knee pressure release, the price has gone up ($250) and I'm hoping the quality is a little better now. None of my local stores stock any cribs for me to see and am wondering if anyone has used this brand and has any input?

I also really like the style of this crib, so I called customer service to ask a few questions. JC Penny's own salesperson said she wouldn't buy it. She said it looked cheap. She aslo said that she thought that two other cribs by this maker had been recalled for safety problems. She montioned the name "Domusindo" and said that the cribs were imported from Indonesia. I'd still like to find out more about this crib because I really like the style, hidden hardware, knee push side and the price ($250).

Anyone else heard anything?
