Baby Bumpa mattress

anyone have any experience with baby bumpa mattresses....i have seen ads, but did not find anything in Baby Bargains Book. Just wondering if they are as nice as the ads indicate or if it is a pain to have to buy the special crib sheets, etc?

I was wondering too. I think cost-wise it would wind up about even, but I've given up on it though. I was concerned about the recommendation that once the child can stand, you take out of the crib anything that the child can use as a step to launch himself out of the crib. That means you'd have to buy another mattress and sheets before the toddler bed. But that may be just my inexperience

Actually, we mention that product on page 70 of the 3rd edition (green cover).

In short, it is a fine product. When you baby gets older, they include a foam insert for the mattress so baby can't climb out!
