I went to a baby store to buy the Classic, however they didn't have one, so he said the Colgage Legacy was the same, and it was the same price. Is he correct? The mattress is very very firm (hard as a rock), is it supposed to be that firm?

I don't know the exact answer to that, but Colgate makes MANY similar mattresses under different model names, so it is very possible. Yes, it is supposed to be very firm!
