We are very interested purchasing a Bumpa bed instead of a regular crib mattress, but had some questions:

1) Is the 4 inch wall provided by the Bumpa bed tall enough to prevent the baby from banging its head? Does a regular bumper pad (8" high) provide better protection?
2)Is there any downside to buying the folding (travel) Bumpa bed instead to the regular flat one?
3)Can one use a sheet protector with the Bumpa bed?

Any help/comments will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks for all your help in advance.

Hi Summer. To answer your questions:

1. Yes, we think it is adequate.
2. None we know of.
3. I don't think so, but you might ask the manufacturer for specific thoughts on that.
