Porta-crib

Does anyone know about these? My sister offered her used porta-crib to me for my two month old daughter who is now in a bassinet. She said it is smaller than a regular crib and we are very pressed for space in our small NYC apartment. I am concerned because it is about 10 years old. It was last used with her son who is now five. I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Porta-cribs are the same thing (as far as I know) as playpens. I think that because of its age and the fact that its not a proper crib, it probably isn't a good idea to use this as a substitute for a real crib. And, I'd actually be surprised if it were smaller than a crib.

It isn't a playpen. It is an actual crib but smaller than a full sized one.
