I'm trying to find one I can feel good about for under $85 or so. What did you all end up getting? And where did you buy it? Thanks!

If you can spend a couple more dollars, jump over to www.babycatalog.com and buy the Colgate foam mattress for about $100 shipped. This mattress is a favorite in the Baby Bargains book and has also been rated #1 by Consumers Reports.

I was just on Babycatalog.com checking the mattresses out -- do you know what the difference is between the Classic I and the new Classic Supreme?

It says on the Supreme its 100% foam but you flip it over when baby reaches infant age for a softer feel. Is it worth the extra $20?

Thanks for your help.

We bought the Supreme because some people find it useful to have the softer side, but some never use it. Our baby is due in October, so haven't had the chance to put it to use yet.

Also, the Supreme was cheaper at babycatalog.com than the Classic I was at our baby store - so I didn't mind shelling out the extra money for it.
