can I alter dresser drawers?

I have a beautiful dresser someone gave us but it doesn't have the draw stops. Ya know so that the drawers can't come all the way out. Does anyone know if I could add them to the drawers or do something to prevent the drawers from being pulled all the way out ? Thanks

Ask at Home Depot or a hardware store. I know "drawer stops" can be added but I don't know exactly how it's done. I think it's a fairly simple procedure, though. Good luck!

Thanks I will try there! I wanted to do this before dd became mobile enought to pull the drawers out.
