Hi,
After looking around quite a bit, I've decided on a Ragazzi crib for my upcoming first baby. It's the 2901 model in their Nuovo Millennio style. In the store, Ragazzi cribs seemed to be of great quality, and they offer an unbeatable warranty (15 years/ 3 children). My only question is about the mattress supports. They are metal bands, about 3/4" thick, that make a grid pattern under the mattress. They seem strong enough, but I'm just wondering if anyone's had experience with these cribs and might have comments on this. The lower-end cribs I saw have metal wires that connect in a honey-comb style.

Thanks for any comments,
Michelle
