What to look for in a crib?

Hi,

I'm starting to research cribs. I have a two month old baby who is currently sleeping in a co-sleeper next to the bed. No idea what features are important in a crib. Any advice from experienced parents out there welcome.

We just moved our baby to a crib (for part of the night, anyway), and the first thing that springs to mind is a quiet side rail. There's nothing more exasperating than getting a baby to sleep and then having her startle awake when you raise the rail! We have a Ragazzi, and if I raise the raiil slowly, it's very quiet. It's also extremely solid.
