using graco triad bassinet as changing "table"

We are considering the Graco 3-in-one bedside sleeper (or "triad") for the first few months after our baby arrives, and we read reviews saying that it can be used as an adjustable changing table even after the baby outgrows it in the bassinet/co-sleeper mode.

I was wondering whether others found this convenient for changing and how long they were able to use it.
