Is there anyone out there who has purchased or knows anything about Lil Angels cribs? I've found their website and I like what they have to say about themselves, (of course), but I'd like to hear a review from a Baby Bargains Book reader. I do know that they are based out of Canada, but I can't seem to find a store that carries them. Thanks!

Please search further down this thread (October, I believe), for a great deal was posted about them at that time.

What I found is that Lil Angels is the DISTRIBUTOR, not the manufacturer, like they claim in their EBay auctions. (The manufacturer is Concord Furniture in Concord, Ontatio.) This is why you can find no information on the company.

Given this information, I purchased the crib from another EBay retailer, Moore Imports. I felt that Lil Angels was deliberately misrepresenting the product, and they would not answer my questions.

If you have any more questions after looking at the other threads, just post here and I'll answer them.

Cheers, Robin

Thanks for the advice. However, I was unable to locate any other info about the cribs that helped. I did try to find Moore Imports on Ebay...again, no luck. Same goes for an online search for Concord Furniture. I put my mom on it though, and she is still looking. In the meantime, if you could tell me which style you bought, and how you like it, (ie. is it sturdy, is the rail release smooth and easy, and basically, would you recommend it?)

Thanks again,
Dorie

Here is the seller that I purchased from on Ebay:

Here is a link to an auction that is the crib we bought:

It's rather massive. :p But solid and good quality. Don't really have an opinion on the rail release. We are not using it yet, and we are both tall enough that I don't think we will use it very often.

Robin, I just wanted to say that your crib is gorgeous!! Not too many cribs "grab" me like this one did - I'm actually kinda jealous of you!

I just fell in love with the "dentils" on it......being the daughter of an interior designer gives me an appreciation for stuff like that. Of course, our house is pretty modern and that's a pretty unusual to see these days....makes me want to go get a fixer-upper to match the crib!

Cheers, Robin

Robin,
Thank you so much for all your help. I hope that you have a good experience with your crib. My baby is due May 6 and I will be needing to purchase a crib soon. I'm starting to panic about not having one yet, and I think that I will probably just end up buying one of the Pali or Sorelle cribs I have seen (and tried) in the stores. But I will continue to research this manufacturer a bit longer until my curiosity is quenched. If you, or anyone else out there, ever has any additional comments or opinions I would love to hear them.
Thanks to all!
Dorie

You have plenty of time!

I'm due in March, and we JUST put the crib together last weekend. We don't have the mattress or linens for it yet. We probably would have waited longer, but since the crib is in our room, I wanted to know how to rearrange the dressers to make it fit in the best way.

Don't rush into a purchase just because you think you are running out of time - *most* cribs are easy enough to acquire.
