Crib painting???

Has anyone ever painted a crib? Is it a good idea?

I have never done it but I'm sure if you made sure to use a non-toxic children's furniture paint and sealer it would be okay. Check out a home improvement store and they shpuld be able to point you in the right direction.

I just touched mine up. My doctor told me to use water based paints.
