NYC/So. CT Used Furniture

Any readers in the NYC/Southern CT area:

I am looking for a used bassinette. Expecting second child 11/3. DS will be 18 mos. at that point and likely still using crib.

Last time borrowed a bassinette, but helpful neighbors have since moved. Do not even have room for pack-n-play in our bedroom, but do not want to buy a bassinette as DS only lasted 5 wks. in bassinette. Hoping #2 will go longer since we have not figured out a long term solution for bedding for #2 given our very small apt.

Have tried NYC Salvation Army, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Check the consignment shops. I see them in Once Upon a Child in Danbury sometimes. There are some consignment shops in Darien that would probably have one.

Have you considered a Snuggle Nest? It sits right on your bed, so takes no room at all.

Do you have a Goodwill store near you (not Salvation army) Target and Toysrus salvage all there stuff that goes on clearance and doesn't sell. You might be able to find one brand new really cheap!
