Anyone have the Simmons Venetian crib from BRU?

Hi ladies,
I think we finally have our crib selection narrowed down. We are leaning towards the Simmons Venetian crib (sleigh style crib w/ solid head and foot boards) from BRU. On the Simmons website they mention that they make this crib exclusively for BRU. As a result, I want to verify that the quality is good and that they didn't attempt to make it more cheaply in order to sell it at BRU. Does anyone have any feedback on this crib? We are looking at the cherry finish for our little boy due 2/21/04.

Sorry it took so long to respond to your post. I don't normally look in this forum.

We have this crib (actually we have the entire set) in pecan.

It's beautiful and we love it. Our daughter is 10 months old and we've had no problems. I recommend it without hesitation.

Thanks for the reassuring recommendation:) We ended up ordering it about a week and a half ago and I got the call earlier this week that it is in. We're going to pick it up Friday night...I'm so excited!! :)

What mattress did you use w/ yours if you don't mind my asking?
