I am expecting my first child in June and I wanted to see if anyone has any comments on the Carmen convertible crib by Pali. I think I'm getting a good deal $648 with the conversion kit. I was not sure how important it was that the mattress support was wood and not springs. Any comments? Also, I am 5'7", will that be a problem with the static sides? My other choice is the Maxine convertible crib by Sorelle. Any opinions on that crib? Thank you for your thoughts.
