portacrib mattress

Does anyone know if you can buy a better mattress for a portable crib? Mine came with such a thin mattress, I'd like to buy a better one. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I bought one new on Ebay, it's much thicker and I just put it on top of the old thin one. I don't know if this is safe for a very young baby, but we used it for our over year old and he seems much more comfortable.
