PDA

View Full Version : Do I have to replace the whole pad?

I have a Ragazzi dresser/changing table combo and have been very happy with the changing pad it came with. Until recently, that is, when the plastic cover suddenly split into about a dozen pieces. It is very strange to me, since we've always used a terrycloth cover, never put anything sharp on the pad, and don't have the pad sitting in direct sunlight. The vinyl/plastic part just gave up one day.

Is there a generic plastic cover I could use to recover the foam core or do I need to buy a whole new changing pad? At 19 months, DS still surprises us during diaper changes, if you know what I mean, so the terrycloth cover isn't enough. I do have an ultimate crib sheet I no longer use, so I could just wrap it around the pad, but it isn't the most attractive solution!

TIA!
