DS is getting waaay to big for his pnp and I love having a changing table in the living room. I want to buy a new one but I really don't want to spend more than $100. I'm looking at this one from BRU. I like the concept but I don't like how there are no reviews and also that it is only availiable online (I like to check things out IRL first). Anyone have experience with this product?

Thx!

I don't have any experience with it, but I would say to make sure it is VERY solidly mounted to your wall. It seems like a good idea as long as it wouldn't rip out of the wall with a toddler's weight.

I've seen this item in person and would recommend it as long as you know a few things in advance. First, there is MUCH more detailed information at the manufacturer's web site. Maybe this will help you make a decision:

Secondly, as for the mounting of the item, it mounts using the same style of mounting as kitchen cabinets use (as also noted at the manufacturer's web site). If mounted properly, there is no concern about its effectiveness. It HAS to be mounted in studs that are 16" on center. It can't be mounted in plaster or brick walls, etc.

Also, there was another discussion of this item somewhere on these boards and I think someone said the table wasn't as wide as normal changing tables, so if your child is large or tall, it might not work for you.

Hope this helps!
