What do you think of the Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper? Can you still sleep with thick blankets in your own bed or does that pose a suffocation risk?
Thanks

We used an Arm's Reach co-sleeper for Neve for her first six months - loved it :) For safe co-sleeping, check out: http://www.drjaygordon.com/ap/cosleeping.htm

I have the mini co-sleeper from Arm's Reach. The rail goes right up to the height of my bed, but the mattress that baby lays on is several inches lower, so our covers don't touch her. (Unless our covers are uneven and I don't pay attention when I turn over or something.)

Since baby is at least several inches away from your covers at any given time, I don't think there's any suffocation risk.

p.s. I love the co-sleeper. It cost more than I wanted to spend, but it was quite worth it.
