I'm looking to buy a bookcase for the nursery. Does anyone have this bookcase, and if so, would you recommend it? Have you seen it anywhere for less?

While that bookcase looks great, my only concern is how many books would it hold.

I'm a book buying maniac (I love children's books) So I went for a standard bookcase, since it could hold more.

Another cool thing about a regular one is that you can also use it to hold toys as well.

This reminds me of the PBK Madison bookshelf the way the books face out. This one seems like it would be very easy for an eager toddler to pull right over. The PBK one can be bolted to the wall.

Here's the one I am talking about....

We had a bookshelf like this at the daycare where I worked. It was nice, in the way it displayed the books, but it didn't hold many. Also, it was easy for pages to get bent since the kids could shove a book in so it was inside another book. And it's easy to "lose" books behind other books.

Thanks for the advice. So what I'm hearing is that I'm probably better off with a regular bookcase. I liked the idea that the books face out so my daughter can see her books, but since I love books (and I hope that she will too!), we're going to have lots of them. This probably isn't a good choice then.
