OT- Return policy at Babies R Us and kmart without a reciept

I recieved a couple of gifts today at my baby shower that are not on my registry and i do not want but dont have the reciept for or do they have to be on my registry and listed as bought??????. can i return them to Babies R Us for a store credit??? Also 1 gift came from Kmart - can i return that and get a store credit there to without a reciept?

Please let me know ASAP going to BRU soon.

I don't know about KMart but BRU will take any item that they sell back for store credit without a sales slip.
