More ?? about crib mattresses...

Since we have been posting about new versus used mattresses, can I ask what the verdict is on foam versus coil mattresses? What are pros and cons of each and which brands are best in each category. Are the highly rated colgates only the coil brand? Pretty sure mine is a Simmons coil
