Instead of using socks, you can dress your baby in sleepers which covers the feet. But baby is active and little feet will slip out of place in no time. What to do? Sew 2 strings each on the ankle area of sleeper as shoe laces to tie around baby's ankle. This way it won't slip/kick off. Baby is now warm and comfortable. I think this method is more confortable than socks since won't kick off socks are too tight for those little feet. Just make sure the strings are short (2 or 3 inches) and sewed on tight so it won't be a safety issue.
