I am so exhausted from moving, and now this.

We just got into our new house and were putting the crib together and we are missing the two metal rods that the sides move up and down on. We can put ONE side of the crib on, but not the other.

Any suggestions as to where I can get replacements? The movers say that there was nothing left on the truck, and DH did walk through the truck before it left and he swears that there was nothing in there, and I belive him b/c he is way more anal than I am about things like that.

I guess this means that DS is back in our bed for the time being.

I would contact the manufacturer of your crib. They should be able to help you.

Good luck!

Oops, that's a "Duh" on my part. I did call the number in the BBBook for Bassett furniture, and the call was "unable to go through". I guess when I am better rested I will hunt around for another number. Thank you!

Try e-mailing Bassett their contact info is on their website. I had e-mailed them about rails for our convertible crib and they got back to me pretty promptly. Good luck.

Which movers did you use? I am moving interstate and also using movers...we were thinking maybe we should dissassemble it ourselves before they come(?)

If the manufacturer is not able to help you, you can look for a local company that will build one for you. This happened to us with my sister's crib. One of the metal rods was missing and we didn't know it for a couple of years until dd came along. Anyway, look for a company that engineers/builds metal items. Let me know if you need more info and I'll check on exactly what type of company it is.
