Recent experiences with Canalli?

Dh and I saw a Canalli crib and combo unit today at Crib & Teen City. I've search the history and read all the past reviews on people's experiences (mostly negative) with this retailer, but nothing seems to have been posted in the last year. Does anybody have any recent experiences with this retailer and manufacturer (positive or negative)? TIA!

I did not buy but did shop at Crib and Teen City. I've read recent reports of improved quality- however, I couldn't shake the feeling that something fishy was going on. They showed me and raved about all their cannalli cribs- when I asked for photos or a catalog to take with me, they gave me a Muniere catalog- I don't know if they are using their designs, or if they are one in the same!!!I then started doing research and read nothing good about Canalli or Muniere.

I also found it interesting that only the cribs are made in italy- no other pieces!
