Well, I finally managed to shake my stroller obsession (DH decided that he wants the Zippy and that's the end of that! :)), but it has now made way for a furniture anxiety attack.

We looked at a Legacy convertible crib (and case piece) at Buy Buy Baby last weekend (it's the Bergen County, #37631) and DH is in love. I am too, but just can't decide whether it's worth the $$ or we're just convincing ourselves.

It's a beautiful piece, Legacy is very well rated in BB, the price isn't bad ($469, I think), and it will last us a long time (either as crib for 2nd baby if we have one, toddler bed for #1, or guest bed).

I don't love the cribs with the drop sides...they just feel flimsy to me. However, if we were to get a good one, the savings would only be about $200 which really isn't enough to make this a money issue for me.

I guess I just can't decide whether this is a solid investment or a splurge. Any personal experience, suggestions, opinions, etc. would be welcome!

Thanks,
Jessica
