I purchased a Rita Bella crib for my son at Great Beginnings in MD (great customer service). In any case, we will be needing to lower the crib to the lowest setting as he will be starting to pull up soon. I lowered the metal platform, BUT I can't seem to line up the holes to put in the nut and bolt. So, I just pushed it down without putting the bolts in for now, BUT then for some odd reason the crib side rail will not go down on the lowest setting with the mattress in the crib. Is anyone else running into this problem? Am I doing something wrong here? Can you not lower the side rail at the lowest setting on this and other cribs with the mattress in it? Thanks in advance for your help.
