Based on Baby Bargains, we purchased a Sorelle crib for our son - and we've been very happy with it.

Now, we're expecting twins. We need a second crib. However, we're pretty confident these two will be our last children, so we need a crib for use by only 1 child.

Any advice on what some good, inexpensive cribs are? (I'm hoping for $150 or less).

Also - if anyone can steer me toward any websites that have great discounts on cribs, that, too would be appreciated (we'd happily buy a 2004 model at a discount!)

Thanks.

If you don't mind really simple, Ikea has inexpensive cribs. I thought they had at least 2 models, but I only see one (Diktad) on their website; it's $159.

If you have a burlington coat factory near you their baby depot department has floor model sales constantly and i've seen some great stuff drastically reduced. they've also got stuff online, but the floor model sales are really bargains. i got my glider there and have been very happy.

I purchased my crib from JCPenney and have been very happy with it. I waited until they had their free shipping (check currentcodes.com for codes) and picked it up at the store (you can also return it there for no return shipping if there is any damage or you don't like). We bought their sleigh crib (usually 199.00) on sale for $150. They have sales frequently and have a lot of reasonably priced baby furniture. HTH - Jennifer
