Dutailier Ottoman

Does anyone have a dutailier ottoman with nursing stool? Can you look at the bottom of it for me? I just received mine and when I pull out the stool all the way one side falls down. I looked at the bottom and one side has a piece of wood with a slot to guide the stool and then a piece of metal that stops the stool at its end. The other side has a smaller piece of wood with no guide slot and no metal post. It looks like they adjusted one side for the stool and not the other. Any input you can give would be great! Thanks!

I can take a look at mine for you tomorrow. I don't use the nursing stool much anymore, but I can tel you mine doesn't fall down on one side.

We have that dutailier ottoman with nursing stool (model 454). It definitely has the metal posts on both ends. The slot in the wood is only on one side though. But it definitely needs the bolt/stop on both ends! Did you get yours from Baby Catalog? (since I have the name of the Dutailier customer service specialist there) Otherwise you should certainly contact whoever you bought it from to sort that out. In our experience, Dutailier was very willing to fix any problems.

Thanks! I have already contacted Baby Catalog and they are getting me a new ottoman. They were really great about it and I get to use the old one until the new one comes. Hopefully it will be here before Baby!
