Hi all. Here's a not so interesting question. DD #2 is due in a week. We thought we would be lucky and DD #1 would have transitioned to the toddler bed we got her by now. No such luck. I have a crib for #2, a foam mattress in #1's crib and a more traditional coil crib mattress in the toddler bed. I like how light the foam mattress is for changing sheets in the crib. Which mattress would you put in the crib for #2?

Honestly as long as the foam mattress isn't wearing or sagging anywhere they should both be equally as good for a baby to sleep on. A coil mattress is no better than an all foam mattress as long as it isn't wearing. The advantage to having the all foam mattress in the crib would simply be convenience since it is easier to change the sheets.
HTH! :)
