I am having a late May or early June baby, in the midwest. I keep seeing flannel bedding for sale at the Company Store, Eddie Bauer, and Landsend. I am wondering if this would be appropriate for the summer? We do use airconditioning but we also use ceiling fans to try to keep the cost of cooling our home down. Personally, I don't care to sleep on flannel because I like the cool crispness of cotton, but then again, I am always using covers on top of myself!

Thanks!

Hi Sadie. Well, here in Colorado, we like flannel for the winter; cotton for the summer. Unless you live in Alaska, it might be hard to use flannel all year round as your baby might be too warm during August!
